Since opening to the public on 20 July 1994, more than five million people have visited the observation deck on the 55th floor of the landmark Rialto Towers. Whether you climb the 1254 stairs or take the lifts to the top of the tallest office building in the Southern Hemisphere, the 360 degree views of Melbourne are worth the trip.

Visitors can use the powerful in-house binoculars or interactive live action cameras to take in the sensational views. The deck has excellent facilities including a café, function room, gift shop and theatre. The deck is popular as a unique venue for corporate and private events, from receptions and dinners to launches, cocktail parties and conferences.

The Melbourne Observation Deck is the only purpose-built space of its kind in Melbourne and the building is one of only 22 members of the prestigious World Federation of Great Towers.
